Self-Protection

Our Self Protection Program offers training in self defense techniques and concepts that enable you to protect yourself
and your loved ones in the increasingly violent society we all live in.

Family Karate trains students in these aspects of Self Protection training;

•        Awareness, Avoidance and Escape Strategies
•        Conflict and Confrontation management skills
•        Understanding and Controlling Fear
•        Personal boundary setting and managing
•        Physical tactics such as Kicking, Punching, Grappling, Ground Fighting and Anti-Grappling

Probably the most important area of Self Protection that Family Karate has to offer is how to protect our inner-self from
ourselves.

Family Karate Self Protection training allows us to better understand ourselves and by doing so, offers us the tools to
help us grow and go on to achieve more in all areas of our life.

Family Karate training can help with;

•        Self Confidence
•        Self Discipline
•        Motivation
•        Focus
•        Improved Awareness Skills
•        Quality of Life
•        Realizing your Dreams and Ambitions
•        Physical Wellbeing
•        Physical Protection

The Self Protection tactics taught at Family Karate is the most modern and relevant out there.  We go to great
measures and expense to train with the utmost experts not only in the United States, but from around the world.  We get
our training from the best in the Self-Protection business.  People such as Eddie Bethea, Kris Wilder, Lawrence Kane,
Al Peasland, Rory Miller, Marc MacYoung, and Iain Abernethy to name a few.

Above all, training at Family Karate is fun and very rewarding.
